What she discovered was nature's exquisite tapestry; towering hills with unobstructed views of culture rich sugarcane valleys extending for miles to the Caribbean Sea, mineral rich natural springs surrounded by lush tropical fauna. Over the years she kept coming back to visit her secret paradise and throughout those visits her dream began to take form.

Seventeen years later Sunset Heal has been created, a place where nature and design have been harnessed to produce the perfect wellness hideaway.

"I fell in love with this area," says Beatrice. "I love Jamaica, and the Jamaican people have taught me so much. The healing center is only the beginning. I plan to create many programs to help others, including the indigenous peoples of Jamaica, to share with the world how powerful they are, how amazing their etho medicine techniques are, and to be a force to empower them more fully.

Another of my commitments is to help create better education for the children of the island. I have already begun a program which teaches them how to recycle and earn profits from their recycling efforts. Those profits can then be used to help children who cannot afford to go to school. All funds will be handled by the community centers and the Justice of the Peace.  I will also work through the community centers to improve health and awareness.

I believe one of the best gifts I can give these wonderful people are the tools so they can improve their own situations.

I am excited and honored to be a positive change agent for the communities and anyone who comes to Sunset Heal in need of healing or renewal.
